Smoothbore

Smoothbore tubing reduces condensation and bacteria growth due to it’s smooth inner surface. The spiral reinforcement on the outer surface of the tubing makes the form more rigid and stable; reduces the risk of kink/folding and provides reduced pressure drop in the circuit at the same time. The clear main body of the tubing enables ease of observation against potential blockages. These circuits are preferred for mid / long term use and mostly for ventilation applications in ICUs but they are also being used for anesthesia in OR’s. With the addition of accesories such as water traps, extension lines and such, these breathing and anesthesia circuits can be customized upon demand to obtain the ideal solution for the intended operation.
